FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Answers to the most common questions before the first lesson. Can't find what you're looking for? Feel free to get in touch.
What do I need for online lessons?
You need a stable internet connection, a phone or laptop, and headphones (recommended for better sound and concentration). All teaching materials are provided by me — there is no need to buy additional books or workbooks.
How do online lessons work?
Lessons take place via Google Meet or Zoom at the agreed time. I adapt to each student — I prefer Google Meet, but lessons can also be held via Zoom or Messenger. The call does not happen within the website; I send you the link separately by email.
When are lessons held?
Lessons take place in the afternoon and evening hours. All lesson times are agreed individually, based on mutual availability.
How do I book a lesson?
Submit the form on the Booking page: choose the lesson type, duration, and preferred time. After I receive your enquiry, I will contact you through your preferred communication channel — WhatsApp, Viber, email, phone, or SMS — with confirmation and a proposed time.
Can I reschedule or cancel a lesson?
Yes. With sufficient notice, a lesson can be rescheduled to another available time without any complications.
What levels do you teach?
I work with learners at all levels, from complete beginners (A1) to near-native level (C2), as well as students preparing for specific exams. If you are unsure of your level, I can offer a short, free level assessment.
How long is a lesson?
Lessons can last 15, 30, 45, 55, 60, or 90 minutes — including short "The Coffee Chat - Audio" sessions from 15 minutes. Duration is agreed based on age, goal, and concentration level to keep lessons effective.
Do you prepare students for exams?
Yes. Preparation covers school-leaving exams as well as international qualifications such as FCE, IELTS, and TOEFL, with a structured plan and practice tests.
Is there a certificate at the end of a course?
Yes. Students who complete a course receive a Certificate of Attendance and Level achieved. The certificate is not a legally recognised qualification, but it serves as an excellent confirmation of knowledge that most employers value.
Do you teach children and adults?
Yes — I work with children, school students, university students, and adult learners. My approach and pace are adapted individually to each learner.
Are in-person lessons available?
Yes. In addition to online lessons, in-person lessons are available for students in the Našice area and surroundings.
