Terms
Terms of Use.
Rules for using this website and for arranging English-language tuition services. Effective from 8 July 2026.
( 01 )
General provisions
These Terms of Use govern the use of the website englishwithelizabeta.com and the arrangement and provision of English-language tuition services. The service provider is ESL ENGLISH, obrt za poduku i usluge, owner Elizabeta Panjković ("English with Elizabeta", hereinafter "we"); full official details are listed at the bottom of this page. Contact: e.ellizabetta@gmail.com. By using the site and submitting an enquiry, you accept these Terms.
( 02 )
Services
We offer individual English lessons for children, students, adults, and business clients, online or in person by arrangement. Descriptions of programs, durations, and prices are listed on the Programs page. The content of the site is informational in nature and constitutes an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer.
( 03 )
Booking a lesson
By submitting the enquiry form you send a non-binding request for a lesson time. The service agreement is considered concluded only once we expressly confirm the time (usually by e-mail). You undertake to provide accurate and complete information in the forms. For students under 16, the enquiry must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
( 04 )
Prices and payment
Prices are listed on the Programs page and are expressed in euros (EUR). Payment is not made through this website. Payment is made by bank transfer directly to the sole trader's account. The price confirmed at the time of booking applies; subsequent changes to the price list do not affect already confirmed lesson times.
( 05 )
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancelling or rescheduling a lesson is arranged directly with the service provider, through the available communication channels. If a lesson is cancelled or the student does not show up less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the lesson is charged in full. In the event of the student's own delay, there is no make-up for the lost time.
( 06 )
Right of unilateral withdrawal
If you contract the service as a consumer at a distance, you have the right, in accordance with the Croatian Consumer Protection Act, to withdraw from the contract unilaterally within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving a reason, by an unambiguous statement sent to e.ellizabetta@gmail.com. If, at your explicit request, lessons begin within that period, you owe a proportionate part of the price for lessons already held, and the right of withdrawal ceases once the service has been fully performed.
( 07 )
Intellectual property
The content of this website and the teaching materials you receive during lessons are protected by copyright. You may use them solely for your own learning; further reproduction, distribution, or public disclosure is not permitted without prior written consent.
The ESL English Method is a proprietary program developed by ESL ENGLISH, based on the principles of the linguistic Direct Method. It is not affiliated with the Callan Method Organisation and does not use their proprietary materials.
( 08 )
Liability and external services
We strive to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for damage arising from temporary unavailability or technical disruptions. Online lessons take place via external video-call services (Google Meet or Zoom), which are subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you are entitled to under mandatory consumer-protection regulations.
( 09 )
Personal data protection
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which form an integral part of these Terms.
( 10 )
Consumer complaints
In accordance with Article 10 of the Croatian Consumer Protection Act, a written complaint may be submitted by e-mail to e.ellizabetta@gmail.com. We will acknowledge receipt of the complaint without delay and respond in writing no later than 15 days after receiving it. Please include your name, contact details, and a description of the complaint.
( 11 )
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. We will seek to resolve disputes amicably; failing that, the competent court has jurisdiction, with consumers retaining the right to have jurisdiction determined by their place of residence. Consumers may also refer to bodies for the alternative resolution of consumer disputes authorised in the Republic of Croatia.
( 12 )
Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time; the version in force is always published on this page with the date it takes effect. Already confirmed lesson times are governed by the version of the Terms in force at the time of confirmation. Version in force since: 8 July 2026.
